Luke 7:36-50 ∙ Worship Wednesday 7.28.20

Hey y'all! I was taking notes on Luke chapter 7 today and I got to that amazing story of a sinful woman who was forgiven by Jesus. Ya know, the woman who washed Jesus' feet with her tears? Here are some pictures of all of the verses from my Bible!

As soon as Jesus sat down at the table, the sinful woman weeped at His feet, and wiped them with her hair. (Luke 7:38 "and standing behind him at his feet, weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head and kissed his feet and anointed them with the ointment.")

Verses 41-43 show Jesus illustrating the point that the more we are forgiven, the more we should love. In verse 48, Jesus says "But he who is forgiven little, loves little."

And then He said to the woman, "Your sins are forgiven." Which is a phrase with inherent healing power. I know it's incredible to KNOW that Jesus forgives us but just imagine being in His PRESENCE, and seeing Him look at you and hearing Him say, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace." (Verse 50)

Have a wonderfullll Worship Wednesday & remember to thank God for waking you up this morning and forgiving you for your sins! <3
