In Psalm 3, many have turned on David. Verses 1-2 say, "Many are rising against me; many are saying of my soul, 'There is no salvation for him in God.' " The situation that David was in, was so bad that many people felt he was BEYOND God's help.
But here's the thing: no matter what horrible thing you do or what's happening in your life, God is always there. You are never "beyond" God's help. He's always got your back, all you need to do is KNOW that He's there & surround yourself with His word & His light.
Verse 3: "But you, O Lord, are a shield about me." No one could shake David's confidence in God, because the Lord is his shield. As long as you know that the Lord is your shield, no one can make you question Him.
Moral of today's Worship Wednesday: NO ONE can shake your confidence in the Lord, as long as you have Him, and you will ALWAYS have Him. He is always for you, never against you.
